ABOUT THE ROLE:

Wilson Security is seeking experienced security officers to manage the day-to-day security operations at the University of South Australia.

Performing the role of campus security and working collaboratively within the Facilities Management team, you will have outstanding presentation and customer service skills and be committed to providing a safe and secure environment around the university campuses.

The roster rotates between day and afternoon shifts with the opportunity to work overtime on weekends and public holidays.

Wilson Security is expanding in Adelaide, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of Adelaide.  This growth has created new roles within our Adelaide team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all security measures are properly implemented.
• Respond to any security incidents and manage emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate records of security operations and report any incidents to management.
• Collaborate with site management and other departments to address security issues and concerns.
• Monitor and control access to sites, ensuring that only authorised personnel are allowed entry.
• Work both independently and as part of a larger team

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Worked in a security aligned business, or similar.
• Have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and Baseline Defence Clearance
• Possess a current SA Security Industry Licence and First Aid Certificate.
• Previous experience using Gallagher and Building Management Systems desirable.
• Decisive decision maker in high-pressure situations.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
