We’re looking for a highly capable Project Manager & Business Analyst to join our Auckland team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, driving organisational change, and delivering projects that improve how our people, systems, and operations work together.

About the Role

Working across all business functions — including operations, digital, customer, IT, HR and finance — you’ll help deliver initiatives that support Wilson Parking NZ’s strategic priorities. While the role reports into Digital, its scope is fully cross-functional.

You’ll turn ideas into reality by analysing how we work today, designing smarter future-state processes, and ensuring improvements are embedded and sustained. Projects will span operational excellence, digital transformation, systems optimisation, and people & culture change.

 

What You’ll Do

Project Management

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion
  • Drive timelines, budgets, quality and accountability
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies
  • Identify and mitigate risks early
  • Provide clear reporting to support decision-making

Business Analysis

  • Capture and validate business and technical requirements
  • Analyse current processes and design improvements
  • Translate needs into functional/system specifications
  • Support testing, change management, and post-implementation reviews

Change Enablement & Delivery

  • Champion new ways of working and guide teams through change
  • Facilitate workshops and build stakeholder buy-in
  • Maintain momentum, unblock issues, and communicate clearly
  • Apply strong change pacing, recognising when to push, pause or support teams through resistance

 

About You

You’re proactive, delivery-focused, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You listen deeply, bring structure to ambiguity, and keep people and customers at the centre of your approach.

You’ll bring:

  • 4–6 years’ business analysis experience in regulated industries
  • Strong project management experience (certification ideal but not essential)
  • Experience in process improvement, stakeholder engagement and operational analysis
  • Exposure to digital transformation, CRM, automation or optimisation
  • Experience in service-based environments
  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (ideal)
  • A customer-led, adaptable mindset
