Workforce Rosterer - National Service Centre

We’re FIRST Security, one of New Zealand’s market leaders in security.
We are seeking a Work Force Rosterer to join our team based in Mount Wellington.
This role is pivotal in the success of our business, and the ongoing engagement of our workforce.
About the role:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday rostered).
• Shifts will vary, typically starting between 0600 and 1500.
• $27.80ph Starting Rate
• You will have a full understanding of your client’s needs, plan, forecast and schedule the workforce to meet these.
• You will support the field staff with availability and leave requests, ensuring they are documented, approved and actioned.
• You will find solutions for absenteeism to ensure all work force requests are covered.
• You will look for efficiencies within the rosters to maximise profitability, while minimising health and safety risks.
• You will report any performance issues to the operations team and support a positive outcome where applicable.
• You will work with Deputy (Rostering System) and Office365 Suits and your skills within Excel will be on show daily!
About you:
• Previous rostering experience within a high volume environment advantageous.
• Have high attention to details and must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
• An understanding of Employment Relations and Holiday Acts advantageous.
• Self-starter who can take ownership of problems and strives to present solutions.
• Naturally friendly and professional on the phone, with the ability to create relationships quickly. You are rostering people’s lives!
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while achieving high standards.
