THE POSITION
We currently have a position available for a Car Park Attendant working on a fixed roster at our STARS Hospital car park in Herston.
- Full time
- Weekday, daytime work
- Level 2 pay
Reporting to the Car Park Manager, this exciting role will expose you to all aspects of car park operations, with focus on friendly, efficient customer service. On a daily basis, you will have responsibility for the efficient operation of the car parks on the site, providing a great customer experience to the large volume of customers who use the car parks.
Duties also include:
- Daily running and checking of Daily Cash Reports for multiple sites
- Monitoring of two car parks
- Maintaining operation of car parks i.e. checking and maintaining car park devices and equipment i.e. cleaning devices, changing receipts/tickets etc.
- Keeping records and filing of paperwork
- General administrative duties
- General office upkeep
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Your friendly and hardworking nature will play a major role in your success. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous customer service experience (ideally in retail environments, call centre operations, or other customer service industries);
- Genuine passion for providing excellent customer service, and;
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, specifically Excel and Word
- IT proficiency
- Strong communication
- Required to interface with hospital staff, executives and public
- Frequent interfacing with the Car Park Manager
- Well presented
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and grow with the company
Candidates will be required to complete a national police check.
