THE POSITION
We currently have a position available for Car Park Officer working at Sunshine Coast Airport.
Reporting to the Car Park Manager, this exciting role will expose you to all aspects of car park operations, including boom gate operation, trolley organisation and car park cleanliness, with focus on friendly, efficient customer service.
This role is also responsible for providing outstanding customer service on “kerbside” at the pick up and drop off area at the front of the airport.
Duties include directing passengers to the right locations, helping with information to both passengers, commercial partners and the general public and general traffic management on “kerbside”. So that all passengers experience an enjoyable, smooth and quick pick up and drop off at the front of The Sunshine Coast Airport.
The position for Car Park Officer has:
- Level 3 pay
- Shifts available: day shift 630am- 2pm, night shift 2pm – 10pm and 4 hour shifts available
- Weekday and weekend shifts, day and night shifts available
- Free onsite parking
- Casual role with approx. 20 – 30 hours per week

- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Full Driver's licence with excellent driving skills
- Genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Be experienced working in a busy environment
- Have computer literacy
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- All applicants will need to be physically fit and able to stand and walk continuously for long periods of time.
- Must have good Mon – Sun availability, be prepared and willing to work in rotating shifts any day or night and weekend shifts.
- Must be friendly but firm, with good communication skills and patience to deal tactfully with people.
- Reliable and punctual with a great work ethic and an ability to work cooperatively and supportive in a Team environment
- Ability to keep calm and communicate with airport coordinators when needed with the use of handheld radios.
Candidates will be required to complete a national police check.
