ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Opportunities available
• 24/7 shifts available
• Level 5 Pay

Wilson Security is expanding in QLD, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

We are seeking professional and highly observant Covert Loss Prevention Officers to join our team covering multiple locations across South East Queensland. This role is responsible for discreetly identifying, monitoring, and preventing theft and other loss-related activities within a retail environment.

Working in plain clothes, you will play a key role in protecting store assets while maintaining a safe and positive experience for customers and team members.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct covert surveillance within store environments to identify theft and suspicious behaviour
• Detect and deter shoplifting and organised retail crime
• Accurately document incidents and prepare clear written reports
• Liaise with store management and relevant authorities when required
• Provide evidence and statements when necessary
• Maintain a professional and discreet presence at all times
• Follow company procedures and relevant legislation relating to loss prevention

• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Ability to remain discreet and professional in a busy retail environment
• Flexible availability to work across different stores in South East Queensland
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Willing to support and step up as required into other roles
• Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
• Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
• Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
• Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
• Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
• Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
