Wilson Security is recruiting Full-Time Relief Security Officers (FTR) in Brisbane.

As a Full-Time Relief Officer, you’ll work across multiple security sites within a designated region, helping provide coverage where needed while enjoying the benefits of permanent full-time employment.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing professional customer service to visitors, contractors and clients

  • Conducting building and perimeter patrols

  • Monitoring CCTV and access control systems

  • Access control duties

  • Managing contractors and deliveries

  • Responding to incidents and emergency situations

  • Identifying and reporting hazards and security risks

  • Supporting tenants, clients and facilities teams

  • Preparing incident and security reports

  • Event security duties

  • Other security and site-specific duties

 

 

What We're Looking For

  • Current QLD Security Licence - Mandatory

  • Current First Aid - Mandatory

  • Australian Citizen or holder of Unlimited Work Rights

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Professional presentation and a proactive approach

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to work rotating rosters, including days, nights and weekends

  • Good computer skills and ability to use security-related systems

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

 

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with CCTV and access control systems

  • Previous experience in a security or customer-facing environment
