Ground Transport and Concierge Supervisor - Sunshine Coast

THE POSITION IN BRISBANE:

We currently have a position available in the Sunshine Coast to join the Car Park team.

  • Casual opportunities as a Ground Transport Concierge Supervisor
  • Monday to Friday – no weekend work!
  • 10:00AM to 2:00PM
  • Casual rate of $33.50

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist passengers with wayfinding their GT mode and provide advice on options,  fares and distances
  • Ensure sufficient supply of taxis to meet demand – monitor and calls to taxi dispatch
    • Monitor and reduce fare evasion by taxi and other GT operators:
    • Backtracking taxis & shuttles
    • Valid permits displayed
    • Uber and other drivers using pick up lanes without pre-booking
    • Not accepting or unreasonable cancellation of rides (Taxis and rideshare)
  • Monitor Short term car park for unauthorized commercial activity – off airport car rental in particular.
  • Ensure pick up drop off lanes are only used by commercial vehicles for authorized drop off.
  • Keep public vehicles out of designated commercial vehicle lanes and pick up locations.
  • Monitor baggage reclaim hall for unauthorized commercial activity.
  • Escalate to DTC any areas of concern or requests for assistance.
  • Document for daily report key activity – report all incidents and infractions

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous experience in retail environment providing customer service.
  • Experience in roles that provided leadership of staff and/or teams preferred.
  • Genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Good computer literacy skills with proficiency in Email communication, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Full Driver's licence with excellent driving skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

 

Given the precinct the candidate will be based there will be a requirement for national police check.
