ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: Murarrie, 4172
- Salary: $80,000 base salary per annum, excluding public holiday & overtime
- Employment Type: Full-Time (84 hours per fortnight)
- Over time Opportunities Available
- Probation Period: Permanent Full-Time within 3 months based on performance
- Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 permanent
- Roster: 5/2 roster,
- Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun Week 2 – Wed, Thurs
Wilson Security is expanding rapidly in Brisbane, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence across Queensland. This growth has created new roles within our Brisbane team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. Wilson offers career growth plans to those who prove themselves and excel in the work environment in which they are placed.
Job Overview
Your shift will include conducting security patrols across multiple sites, responding to alarm activations, providing customer service to building occupants, and coordinating with our operations centre. You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring our clients' properties remain safe and secure throughout your shift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing visual and physical checks of properties
- De-escalation situations while maintaining site safety and security
- Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults via reporting systems
- Time Management for responding to alarms
- Customer service support to tenants, facilities management and the general public
- Responding to incidents and coordinating with fellow officers when required
- Completing detailed incident reports
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- Ability to work rotating roster (nights and weekends)
- Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write clear, detailed reports
- Physical fitness to walk and stand for extended periods
- Valid QLD Security License
- Valid Driver's License (Must be Australian)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
HIGHLY DESIRABLE (Not Required)
- Crowd Control endorsement
- Previous security or patrol experience
- Willingness to support and step up into other roles as career growth and leadership opportunities become available

- Wages go off the SSIA Award Rate Level 2
