Static Security Officer in Christchurch

About the Role
We’re looking for a Security Officer to join the team. This is a people-focused role where you’ll support both customers and staff, helping create a safe and welcoming retail environment. No two shifts are the same, and full training is provided.
Duties:
- Providing a visible security presence in-store
- Supporting staff and customers with any issues or concerns
- Doing bag checks when required
- Monitoring store activity and identifying potential risks
- Responding to incidents and de-escalating situations
- Delivering strong customer service at all times
- Completing basic reporting as required
What you’ll need:
- Be 18 years or older
- Reliable and able to work rostered shifts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence with a range of people and situations
- NZ/Australian citizenship or a valid NZ work visa
- A current COA is preferred but not essential (we can help you get one)
