Security Operations Centre Operator (Call Centre Operator) – Hamilton/ Part Time

About the role:

We have an opportunity to join our Hamilton SOC team.

These specialist roles within a National communications company will be different, with unique challenges daily but it’s all about people engagement - listening, observing, and helping.

You will be:

• Monitoring CCTV, and numerous critical alarm systems
• Assisting with access and compliance within the telecommunications sector
• Working on variety of applications via desktop simultaneously; some of these include:
  *Outlook
  *Microsoft Teams
  *SharePoint
  *PureCloud
  *Excel
  *Gallagher command centre
• Incident reporting
• Raising and following up fault tickets
• Handling Inbound and outbound calls

This isn’t just a normal Call Centre role. While we don’t need experience in Security, you may come from a strong customer service, or fast pasted call centre environment.

What we can offer you:

• Starting rate is $23.95 per hour
• Starting in a casual position, you will receive paid training to move into a permanent role and receive a pay increase to $24.85.
• Full and ongoing training provided
• A supportive Team environment
• Stable roster of rotating 8 hour shifts.
• Start times are 0600, 0700, 1200 and 2000
• Weekly pay

What we need you to have:

• Communication skills - both written and verbal - incident/shift reports/Radio comms
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Great computer literacy skills
• Be a people person and be solution focused
• Work well under pressure and ability to multitask
• Have a polite telephone manner
• Be a team player
• Reliability – Ensure you are at work to support your team
• A current COA license or the ability to obtain one (we can assist you in obtaining the COA)
