About the Role
We’re looking for a Call Centre Operator to join our team in Hamilton. You will be working for an important client, in a fast-paced communications and support environment. This is very much a call centre and operations support role, where you’ll be handling incoming calls, monitoring systems, and coordinating responses across multiple platforms.
Every day is different, and success comes down to strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organised while multitasking across systems.
Duties:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls in a professional contact centre environment
- Monitoring CCTV and critical alarm systems
- Supporting access and compliance processes within a telecommunications environment
- Logging, updating, and managing incident reports
- Raising, tracking, and following up fault tickets
- Working across multiple systems and applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PureCloud, Excel, and Gallagher Command Centre
- Coordinating information between teams and ensuring accurate documentation
- Providing clear, calm communication during incidents and escalations

What you’ll need:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confident phone manner and customer service approach
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and ability to multitask across systems
- Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
- A team-focused, reliable attitude
- Previous call centre or customer service experience (desirable)
- Ability to obtain a COA (we can assist you with this)
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
