ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

 

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to evaluate business processes, gather and document requirements, and provide valuable insights to support the successful delivery of key projects and business improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex systems and processes, and a strong understanding of project management methodologies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the objectives and requirements of key business initiatives, translating them into clear and concise business requirement documentation.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents, process flows, and user stories, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.
  • Work closely with the Product Innovation Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making and drive project success.
  • Assist in developing test plans and cases, supporting the testing process to ensure deliverables meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks and issues affecting timelines, budgets, or quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, insights, risks, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment with business requirements, offering ongoing support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies, advocating best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

 

 

 

ABOUT YOU:

 

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and their application in business analysis processes.
  • Capable of navigating uncertainty and ambiguity to achieve successful business outcomes and discussions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into simplified actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process modelling, and data analysis.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty to drive successful business outcomes and foster productive discussions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and team members.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within established timelines and constraints.
  • Experience with project management software and testing tools is highly regarded.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud or Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementation is a plus.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within IT project environments.
