Wilson Security is expanding in Melbourne. VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of state. This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Control Room Operator to join our team
in a hospital environment located in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems, patrol premises, and report suspicious
- activities.
- Support emergency situations by monitoring via CCTV and coordinating
- resources.
- Manage access controls, alarms, and fire monitoring, ensuring site compliance.
- Liaise with emergency services and police as needed.
- Maintain security and visitor logs, weapons registers, and lost/found item
- records.
- Prepare and input daily activity reports into the reporting system.
- Operate security software such as CEOSNET, Integriti, and Indigo Vision (highly
- regarded).
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Provide support to on-floor security when required.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Australian Citizenship or full working rights.
- Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement (minimum 1
- year of experience).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current valid driver’s license.
- COVID-19 vaccinations (three doses, including booster).
- Annual flu vaccination.
- Willingness to undergo a blood test for compliance purposes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and associated programs.
- Professional presentation and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work 24/7 rotating 12-hour shifts.
