Full Time - Security Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Location: Truganina
• Full-time 12-hour Rotational Roster – Weekdays and Weekends included
• 24/7 availability
• Pay rate at Level 4
• Previous experience: Gatehouse & Access control is highly desirable.

Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception:

• Provide front desk customer service and manage access control (Integriti Software).
• Conduct regular audits (keys, CCTV, turnstile, radios, emergency systems).
• Handle incident reports, maintenance requests, and email/intercom responses.
• Support first aid and fire alarm responses as required.

Inbound Gatehouse:

• Manage truck access, bookings, and dock allocations using JDA/WMS.
• Liaise with drivers and internal teams.
• Perform gatehouse and truck weight audits.
• Handle calls, emails, and basic Excel reporting.

Outbound Gatehouse:

• Verify truck seals/PAN numbers and log in WORS.
• Conduct vehicle and truck weight checks.
• Manage intercom communications and assist with reporting.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Australian Citizen or Full working rights
• Current valid Driver’s license (Have your own transport)
• Must have 24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12 hr shifts
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced computer skills
• Gatehouse & Access control experience is highly desirable.

• Ability to work well under pressure
