ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

  • Location: Essendon Fields
  • Full Time 12-month fixed-term role with the possibility of an extension
  • Monday to Friday
  • Potential earnings of up to $115k plus super dependent on experience

 

The Functional Analyst will support workforce management (WFM) processes across the Wilson Group by collaborating with key internal stakeholders and Project Team to document and maintain clear business processes.

This role involves identifying and defining functional and non-functional requirements, supporting configuration and testing during the build phase, and ensuring reporting needs are met. Experience in Time and Attendance, Payroll or HRIS Projects is essential. 

Flexibility to work across project work streams including Payroll, testing and training will be required.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Document all to Workforce Management Processes
  • Capture Business Requirements
  • Seek to optimise the TO BE processes for Wilson Group, whilst aligning to the Out of the Box functionality
  • Work with the Functional Specialist to facilitate Business Process Owner sign off on various deliverables
  • Support data migration activities, including mapping and identification of data entities that require cleansing
  • Assist with identification of reporting requirements
  • Undertake testing at various stages of the project and record results
  • Support training materials development
  • Support training delivery
  • Identification of risk and issues and associated mitigating activities, including development and execution of action plans
  • Capture key decisions and assisting facilitation to ensure business decisions are made
  • Contribute to other workstreams on the project, both functional and non-functional
  • Monitor and proactively identify additional Benefits, capture/adjustment of benefits throughout project delivery.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Expertise in workforce management processes, with a strong understanding of rostering, time sheeting, and forecasting impacts.
  • Strong experience in Payroll or HRIS projects
  • Proven experience in business process analysis and driving process improvements.
  • Ability to manage competing demands across multiple business units.
  • Advanced skills in Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a track record of holding vendors/partners accountable.
  • Experience working effectively within hybrid, geographically distributed teams.

 

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of workforce management elements.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience with Workforce Management and Payroll/HRIS projects.
