As the HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering proactive HSE leadership and advisory support to operations and business units within your assigned regional group. This dynamic position involves providing practical guidance on HSE, risk management, training, and compliance functions to both management and employees, ensuring alignment with Wilson Group’s policies, procedures, and processes.

In this role, you'll provide advisory support to operations and business units, driving HSE leadership, compliance, and risk management. Key responsibilities include:
- Risk Management & Compliance: Maintain and improve HSE risk frameworks, conduct audits, support legislative compliance, and prepare for internal/external audits.
- HSE Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture, implement HSE initiatives, and ensure the health, safety, and wellness of all stakeholders.
- Support & Advice: Engage stakeholders, provide HSE guidance, and facilitate audits and risk assessments.
- Incident Management: Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and the development of safety alerts.
- Training & Development: Coach managers, deliver HSE training, and coordinate programs like toolbox talks.
- General Duties: Adhere to company values, monitor best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is critical in ensuring safety, compliance, and HSE excellence across the business.
About You:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HSE, Risk Management, Compliance, or Operations.
- Multi-site environment experience (advantageous).
- Strong customer focus with excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a logical approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
- Energetic and adaptable, with a positive attitude and resilience in dynamic environments.
- Solid understanding of WHS, policy compliance, and current legislation.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or tertiary qualification in HSE (preferred).
- Valid driver’s licence.
