ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Location: Mount Waverley and Cheltenham Depot
• Full Time Mobile Patrols Officer
• Level 2 Award Rate
• 1 years minimum experience
• Night shift for four weeks, followed by one week of day shifts on the weekend
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle

We are seeking reliable and professional Mobile Patrol Officers to join our security team. This role involves conducting mobile patrols, responding to alarms, and ensuring the safety and security of client sites across assigned areas.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of client premises
• Respond promptly to alarm activations and incidents
• Lock and unlock premises as required
• Identify and report security risks, hazards, and suspicious activity
• Complete accurate incident and patrol reports
• Liaise with control room, emergency services, and clients when required
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Operate company vehicle and security equipment safely

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Security Licence (unarmed) – mandatory
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Work with children check
• Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills
• Physically fit and capable of working independently
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Police check (or willingness to obtain one)

DESIRABLE (but not essential)

• Previous mobile patrol or security experience
• Knowledge of alarm response procedures and reporting systems
