ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Location: Fairfield- Mental Health Hospital Facility
• Permanent night shifts – part-time role
• Patrolling Officer role
• Permanent night shifts, 2100 – 0700, averaging 70 hours per pay fortnight.
• Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday
• Week 2 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday.

Wilson Security is expanding in Victoria securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of state.  This growth has created new roles within our VIC team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client
• Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
• Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
• Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
• Providing general security support
• Responding to emergency situations
• Ad-hoc duties
• Patrolling duties

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset
• As per hospital requirements- covid vaccinations
• Willing to support and step up as required into other roles
• Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
• Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
• Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
• Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
• Valid VIC Security License (including Monitoring Subclass)
• Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
