About The Role

  • Sydney CBD office location
  • Competitive salary

Join Wilson Parking as a Pricing Analyst and play a key role in helping drive revenue growth and smarter pricing decisions across our national car park portfolio.

Working closely with the National Pricing Manager, you’ll turn data and market insights into meaningful recommendations — analysing competitor pricing, monitoring site-level performance and providing the reporting that supports key commercial decisions across the business.

This is a genuine development opportunity for an early-career analyst looking to build strong commercial and analytical skills in pricing and revenue management. You’ll begin with clearly defined responsibilities and close support, with the opportunity to take on greater ownership and autonomy as your capability and understanding of the business grows.

To succeed, you’ll develop a strong understanding of Wilson Parking’s products, competitor offerings and pricing, as well as the factors that influence how our car parks perform.

If you’re analytical, commercially curious and keen to see your work directly influence business performance, this is an opportunity to build your career in a fast-paced and highly commercial environment.

Responsibilities:

Competitor & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor pricing across the national portfolio, identifying rate movements, product changes and new market entrants
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date competitor pricing and product data
  • Keep the National Pricing Manager informed of significant market and competitor movements
  • Build a strong understanding of competitor offerings, market positioning and key markets
  • Conduct site assessments to ensure Wilson Parking rates and products are accurately reflected

Performance & Analysis

  • Analyse revenue, volume and yield performance across the national portfolio against budget, forecast and prior year
  • Identify performance exceptions and investigate the key drivers behind variances
  • Assess whether performance changes are driven by pricing, demand, operational factors or data
  • Develop data-backed pricing and product recommendations for review by the National Pricing Manager
  • Track the performance and revenue impact of implemented pricing changes
  • Provide analysis to support business cases, client reporting and commercial decisions

Reporting

  • Prepare pricing and performance reports for Senior and Executive Leadership teams
  • Deliver accurate, insightful reporting within agreed deadlines
  • Turn complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, automation and accuracy

Data & Rate Management

  • Maintain accurate rate, product and site data across pricing systems and reporting tools
  • Monitor data quality across key business inputs, including vacancy and car park utilisation data
  • Identify and resolve data issues before they impact reporting or decision-making
  • Support the implementation of approved rate changes and ensure they are accurately reflected across systems

About You

  • 2–4 years’ experience in an analytical role across pricing, revenue, commercial, finance or data analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables and complex formulas, with the ability to work with existing macro-driven workbooks
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with revenue and financial data
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Naturally curious, with the ability to investigate why the numbers don’t look right rather than simply reporting them
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new systems, tools and processes
  • Reliable and accountable, with the ability to own recurring deliverables and consistently meet deadlines
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuously developing your skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, finance and commercial teams
  • Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and reporting deadlines
  • Experience in services, property or parking is advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to parking access and revenue control systems such as SKIDATA, Designa or Amano is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline such as Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field
