We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electronic security projects across commercial, government, and critical infrastructure sectors.

This role has end-to-end responsibility for managing integrated security solutions, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, perimeter protection, and unified security platforms.

The Project Manager will ensure all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with Australian Standards and client requirements.

 

 

Duties will include:

 

 Project Delivery
Manage multiple electronic security projects from contract award through to practical completion and handover
Develop, maintain, and control detailed project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts
Coordinate internal engineering teams and external subcontractors to meet project milestones
Oversee procurement of equipment and materials in line with project timelines
Ensure all works comply with approved scope, drawings, and technical specifications
Manage variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and contractual requirements

 

Financial Management
Prepare, manage, and track project budgets
Monitor project expenditure and forecast profitability
Approve supplier invoices and administer client progress claims
Ensure projects achieve or exceed target gross margins

 

Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
Chair project meetings and provide clear, timely progress reporting
Build and maintain strong working relationships with builders, IT teams, and end users

 

Technical Oversight
Provide technical guidance across integrated security systems, including:
Access Control (e.g. Gallagher, Inner Range, Lenel, Genetec)
CCTV and Video Management Systems
Intrusion Detection Systems
Intercom and Perimeter Detection
Ensure installations meet relevant Australian Standards (including AS/NZS 2201, AS 4806, and associated codes)
Coordinate commissioning, testing, and system integration activities

 

Compliance & Safety
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with WHS legislation and company safety procedures
Maintain site safety documentation, SWMS, and risk assessments
Verify that all personnel hold the required security licences and clearances

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will require:

 

 Essential
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing electronic security projects
Demonstrated success delivering integrated security solutions across complex environments
Strong knowledge of Australian security standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Proven capability in project financial management, budgeting, and cost control
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current Australian Security Licence
White Card
Valid Driver’s Licence

 

Desirable
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
Experience delivering projects within critical infrastructure and/or government sectors
Working knowledge of IT networking principles and system integration
