ABOUT THE ROLE:

·       Location: Truganina VIC

·       Casual 24/7 available (with potential to go full-time opportunity)

·       Pay rate at Level 3

·       12-hour shifts (6:30 am – 6:30 pm/ 6:30 pm – 6:30 am)

·       Previous experience in the security industry is essential.

·       Data Centre Security or high-security environments are preferred but not mandatory.

Wilson Security is expanding in Melbourne. VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of state.  This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted area. 

·       Processing alarms and responding to emergency situations

·       CCTV monitoring

·       Ensure compliance with all Security Procedures & Policies 

·       Issue and audit security visitor and contractor badges in line with security policies.

·       Raise and modify Access Requests using client software programs. 

·       Escalate and report on incidents and provide daily activity reports in writing. 

·       Patrol assigned areas and report issues to the control room.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

·       Australian Citizen or Full working rights

·       Valid Victorian Security licence

·       Current valid Driver’s license (Have your own transport)

·       Current First Aid and CPR Certificate  

·       Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

·       24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12 hr shifts

·       Excellent communication skills and Customer service experience

·       Available to attend a group interview in person.

·       Police checks and other background checks are also required
