Full Time Security Officers – Wilson Security at Melbourne Airport
About the role:
- Location: Melbourne Airport
- Must be available for 24-7 rosters
- Role starts casual for training then converts to full-time
- Varied shifts- 8-12 hours
- 76 hours a fortnight of work
- Level 1 role
- Onsite parking

With the continued expansion of Melbourne Airport, we are seeking professional and customer focused Full Time Security Officers to join our frontline operations team.
These positions will support the newly introduced Pick Up and Drop Off area on Naarm Way, located at the T1/T2/T3 Car Park precinct.
This role will commence as casual on Monday 3rd of August for training and applicants will then be converted to full-time on 31st of August.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where team members will act as the frontline representatives of Melbourne Airport, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining safety, security, and traffic flow operations.
Duties will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, visitors, and drivers
- Manage traffic flow and driver behaviour within designated Pick Up and Drop Off zones
- Respond professionally to incidents and operational issues
- Conduct detailed incident reporting and documentation
- Work collaboratively within a high performing operational team
- Maintain a strong security presence in a busy public environment
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Current VIC Security license
- Must hold a valid driver's licence and own vehicle to get to the site
- Full working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- The ability to read, write, and complete detailed reports proficiently
- Current Traffic Control Certification (Preferred)
- The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays
