Wilson Security is seeking an experienced and motivated State Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team in Victoria. Reporting directly to the General Manager – VIC, you will lead and mentor a team of Operations Managers and oversee service delivery across our portfolio of contracts.

This role is critical to our success – you’ll drive performance outcomes, enhance client satisfaction, ensure compliance, and help shape the strategic direction of our operations in Victoria, our largest state.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide hands-on leadership and support to the Victorian Operations Team
• Monitor and improve contract performance, resourcing, compliance, and cost control
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders across multiple sectors
• Champion operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee financial and non-financial metrics to ensure business objectives are met
• Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team engagement, development, and accountability
• Support retention of key contracts and contribute to business growth initiatives

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven success in senior leadership across multi-site operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a dynamic, service-driven environment
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Sound knowledge of HR/IR, WHS, and compliance in a large workforce context
• Strategic thinker with strong communication and decision-making skills
• Experience managing high-risk, high-profile contracts (security or related industries preferred)

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management or related field (desirable)
• Experience managing 200+ personnel and multiple direct reports
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using operational reporting systems
