Parking Enforcement Supervisor

At FIRST Security, we’re proud to be one of New Zealand’s leading security providers, delivering trusted services across the country through our dedicated people. We’re looking for a hands-on Parking Enforcement Supervisor to support our Parking Enforcement Services team across Picton and Blenheim.
Duties:
- Supervise, train and support Parking Attendants to deliver great customer service and follow procedures.
- Oversee daily car park operations and parking enforcement activities.
- Conduct parking compliance checks and issue breach notices alongside your team.
- Carry out regular patrols and identify any safety or security concerns.
- Check parking machines, gates and other equipment, carrying out minor maintenance where required.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and disputes professionally.
- Assist with rostering, staff allocation, reporting and general administration.
- Keep communication flowing between the Operations Team Leader, Parking Attendants and clients.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current full Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence.
- Training or experience in conflict resolution and customer service.
- A practical, can-do attitude and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
Further Details
- Pay rate: $33 per hour
- Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday, 9:00am–5:00pm
- Location: Supporting sites across Picton and Blenheim
- Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use
- Team: Supervising two Parking Attendants per day
