Advanced First Aid Trainer

 

Wilson Medic One is the healthcare and registered training division of the Wilson Group, delivering nationally recognised qualifications, accredited short courses and clinical services across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. If you are a qualified Advanced First Aid trainer happy to deliver a variety of short courses both in Perth and Regional WA with additional opportunities to grow within our Training Department, we'd love to hear from you.

 

Reporting to the Training Manager, you will deliver nationally recognised training while developing learning resources, assessment tools and contributing to continuous improvement across our education programs.

 

This role is based in Belmont and includes travel to regional and remote Western Australia.

 

 

 

Casual Opportunity

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment across accredited and non-accredited healthcare programs.
  • Support learners to successfully complete their training.
  • Maintain accurate training, assessment and student records.
  • Participate in validation, compliance and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Training, Clinical Services and Administration teams.
  • Travel as required to metropolitan, regional and remote locations.

 

 

 

ABOUT YOU:

You are approachable, engaging and passionate about developing capable First Aiders. You enjoy working independently and take pride in delivering high-quality training and assessment. You're adaptable to a variety of learning styles and learning environments, be those schools, private companies, mine sites or at a training center. You have a minimum of one year’s experience training in First Aid.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATION:

  • HLTAID014 Advanced First Aid Qualification or higher
  • HLTAID015 Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy or higher
  • HLTPAT010 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing desirable
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Current unrestricted C-class Driver’s License.
  • Current Working with Children’s check.
  • National Police Clearance less than 3 months old
