Operations Manager 

About the role

Reporting to and collaborating with the Senior Manager of Clinical Services, this role will oversee the daily operations of Patient Transport. The Operations Manager will serve as the primary point of escalation for matters including staff management, resource optimization, and ensuring high standards of patient care, where applicable. 

Key Duties include: 

• Coordinate staff to meet contractual expectations and KPIs.
• Support legal and contractual compliance of the business unit.
• Implement best practices across operations.
• Oversee people, processes, and resources.
• Assist in managing budgets aligned with financial forecasts.
• Drive sustainable growth.

Administration & Reporting:

• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and professionalism.
• Prepare and distribute reports in line with business and contractual requirements.
• Model and adhere to company values and policies.
• Ensure health and safety, reporting hazards and incidents.
• Engage in annual performance reviews and work toward set objectives.

Policy and Compliance:

• Adhere to Wilson Medic One and Wilson Group HSE policies.
• Fulfill customer contractual obligations.

Skills and requirements:

• At least three years of experience managing a people-focused operational business.
• Strong skills in people logistics and management, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Expertise in rostering and shift planning.
• Process and system-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in technology, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional representation of Wilson Medic One to customers and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
