ABOUT THE ROLE:

·         Location: Perth, Western Australia

·         Permanent Full-Time position with opportunities for voluntary over time.

·         5 weeks annual leave

·         Potential earnings up to $100 000 (*Potential earnings up to $100 000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including voluntary overtime, classification, and other factors)

Wilson Security is expanding in Western Australia securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the whole of Western Australia.  This growth has created new roles within our Perth, WA team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a hand’s on, response role with a reputable organisation on a full-time basis in the Transperth Bus Security Portfolio.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Previous experience within the Security Services industry, in a hands-on role, is highly regarded

·         A non-judgmental, empathetic approach to Customers

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills

·         Be flexible and have full availability to work across a rotating roster, 7-day week, 365 days a year (24/7, day and night shifts)

·         Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go

·         A strong Customer Service focus, with a knack for de-escalation

·         Observe and monitor individual's behaviour

·         Ability to manage challenging situations in a positive way

·         Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner

·         Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

·         Exceptional reporting skills, including handwritten and online reporting

·         A high level of personal presentation, grooming and conduct

·         The ability to work effectively as part of a team

·         The ability to comply with all policies and procedures 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

·         Current and valid WA Security licence

·         Current and valid WA Driver's licence

·         Certificate II in Security Operations

·         Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR

·         Must hold or work towards obtaining Baton, Handcuff, OC and Empty Hand Technique Certification within probationary period

·         Basic Worksite Traffic Management and/or Traffic Controller Certification (Desirable)

·         Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

·         Excellent and proven Computer and Administration Skills

·         Excellent Customer Service Skills

·         Professional Personal Presentation

·         Proven experience in Conflict Resolution

·         Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia

·         Commitment to work day and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts
