ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Electronic Security Project Manager to join our team based in Murarrie, Brisbane. This role is responsible for managing and delivering electronic security projects across Queensland.
Working closely with our engineering, service delivery, and technical teams, you will be accountable for end-to-end project management across a diverse range of sites including critical infrastructure, commercial facilities, government, and enterprise clients. You will ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements, while maintaining strong client relationships and managing subcontractor performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role that offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects and be part of a growing, supportive, and forward-thinking team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End-to-end project management of electronic security installations including CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, and Security Networks.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Conduct site assessments and work with design teams to finalise scope of works.
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, technicians, and internal resources to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to HSEQ standards.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, variations, and financial performance.
- Manage handover documentation, commissioning, client training, and project close-out.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards, client specifications, and security licensing requirements.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for delivering high-quality security technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in electronic security and proven experience delivering projects in live, critical, or complex environments.
You will have:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Electronic Security Project Management.
- Solid understanding of Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, and Integrated Security Systems (e.g., Gallagher, Integriti, Genetec, Milestone).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and work collaboratively with design & engineering teams.
- Current QLD Security Licence (or ability to obtain), Construction White Card, and valid Driver’s Licence.
- Formal qualifications in Project Management, Electrical, IT, or similar (highly regarded).
- Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally interstate as required.
