ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Location: Katherine, Northern Territory
  • Sign on Bonus for applicants who hold an NV1 clearance
  • Full Time and Casual Opportunities available
  • Weekday and weekend shifts available
  • Potential earnings up to $100000 (inclusive of generous overtime earnings) (*Potential earnings up to  $100 000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)

 

 

Wilson Security is expanding in the Northern Territory, securing additional Defence contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of the Territory.  This growth has created new roles within our NT team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may arise
  • Have an understanding of communication lines and chain of command
  • Have an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systems
  • Protect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructure
  • Submit electronic or paper incident and hazard reports
  • Be well presented and well-spoken
  • Have good IT skills

  • Willing and able to support and step up as required into other roles
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
  • Australian Citizen
  • AGSVA Clearance (Highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
  • Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
  • Valid NT Security License
  • Valid NT Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid
