ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

  • Location: Canberra ACT
  • Full-time and Casual Security Officers for the ACT portfolio. 
  • 4 - 12 hour shifts available
  • AGSVA Clearance Required NV2
  • Patrols, Concierge and Control Room.
  • Level 3 - Level 5 Positions available 
  • Long-term Government Contract 
  • Receive an $8000 sign-on bonus when you join our team. 

 

Wilson Security is expanding in ACT, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

 

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

 

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & clients
  • Gatehouse duties
  • Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
  • Providing support to tenants and Facilities
  • Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Contractor management duties
  • Ad-hoc duties

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Willing to support and step up as required into other roles
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
  • Australian Citizens
  • Previous experience in Corporate Real Estate Contracts (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programs)
  • Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
  • Valid ACT Security License (including Monitoring Subclass)
  • Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NV2 clearance
