The Role
As an Area Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance across a portfolio of car park sites, driving efficiency, service excellence, and results. Lead, coach, and support site teams and supervisors to achieve key performance targets, while acting as the key link between senior management, clients, and frontline staff to ensure clear communication and seamless execution.

This role will be offered as a permanent full-time position, with a home base at our office at Macquarie Place in Sydney CBD. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and have career progression within our group.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and support site teams, setting clear expectations and driving high performance across all locations
  • Managing and monitoring the incidence of claims, customer complaints, staff issues and capital expenditure.
  • Site Performances and Reporting
  • Establishment of new sites
  • Client and contractor liaison and relationship management
  • Liaising with internal sales and marketing team members
  • Providing regular, accurate and timely reporting and analysis on site performance to budget to PM
  • Identifying, addressing and communicating actions taken on variances to budget in matters of resourcing, casual revenue, cost control
  • Provide advice and recommendations on future infrastructure requirements, supported by ongoing market research

 

Our ideal applicants will have:

  • 5+ years of management experience within a client service industry (ideally in retail, hospitality, or other service industries)
  • Tertiary qualifications in business is highly desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience managing operations across multiple sites, ideally within a fast-paced service environment
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record in people management and workforce engagement
  • Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and cost control
  • Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
