- Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, excluding public holidays
- 2 or more years of experience as a Security Manager required
We are seeking an experienced Site Security Manager to lead and oversee security operations at a key site. This role is responsible for managing a team of Security Officers, driving performance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of site operations.
You will act as the key link between frontline teams and senior management, maintaining clear communication and high standards across all areas of the site.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, ensure compliance with reporting and administrative requirements, and play a critical role in safeguarding people, property and assets while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Duties will include:
• Lead, coach and support a team of Security Officers, setting clear expectations and driving high performance
• Foster a positive, safety-first culture with a strong focus on communication, teamwork and development
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management across the team
• Take full ownership of site operations, ensuring contractual obligations are met and service standards are consistently exceeded
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and cost control
• Lead by example in delivering professional security services, including access control, patrols and incident response
• Maintain strong situational awareness and ensure all security systems and procedures are operating effectively
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies, escalating where required and liaising with authorities when necessary
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents, activities and site performance
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, compliance and presentation at all times
• Follow all site procedures, company policies and WHS requirements to maintain a safe and secure environment
To be successful in this role, you will require:
• 2 plus years of experience as a security manager
• Must hold a valid Security License
• Strong problem-solving capability
• Proven ability to build relationships across all levels
