Your community, your impact. This role is about people. You will be a calm, friendly presence in local retail spaces and a trusted point of contact for customers and staff. Your day could include:

• Greeting shoppers and offering directions or assistance
• Checking in with whanau, older customers and anyone who may need extra help
• Using confident, respectful communication to de-escalate tense moments
• Working closely with store teams and, when needed, local community partners to keep the environment welcoming
• Noticing hazards and supporting safer spaces for everyone

About the role

• Minimum 36 hours per week 
• Site rate $24.50 per hour
• Real pathways for development if you want to grow your career

• 18 years or older
• Strong customer service and clear communication
• Security experience preferred
• Current COA (Certificate of Approval)
• NZ or Australian citizenship or a valid NZ work visa
• Being a friendly, visible presence in retail stores
• Listening, explaining and helping customers and staff
• De-escalating situations with confidence and care
• Wearing an SRBA vest for your entire shift
