About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-focused and analytical Compliance Officer to join our Monitoring Centre team on a full-time basis.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring processes and activities are being followed, analysing data and producing reports that help us maintain high standards of compliance and performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting compliance audits across Monitoring Centre processes and activities

  • Generating, distributing and collating compliance reports

  • Analysing data and monitoring compliance against agreed processes and tasks

  • Measuring and reporting performance in line with Response Frameworks and internal SOPs

  • Identifying issues and supporting continuous improvement

  • Working closely with the team to ensure processes and standards are consistently followed

  • Completing additional duties as required by the EMC Manager

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong process-driven approach

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Macro experience

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving

  • The ability to follow instructions and work accurately

  • Confidence learning and using new technology and systems

  • Strong computer and keyboard skills

  • A mature and professional attitude

  • A current COA is preferred but not essential

  • Ability to work weekends when required

  • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check

  • NZ/Australian citizenship or a valid NZ work visa
