About the Role

Reporting to the Forestry Operations Co-ordinator and Client Services Manager, you’ll provide crucial administrative support for Rotorua-based client accounts. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing reception duties, responding to customer enquiries, coordinating staff administration, supporting health and safety compliance, and assisting with training documentation.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work on time.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally manage reception duties, including incoming calls and emails

  • Maintain and organise office supplies, PPE, and uniforms

  • Liaise with clients and the public regarding forestry account queries

  • Assist with issuing forestry permits and keys

  • Provide accurate and timely data entry

  • Support recruitment and training administration

  • Ensure health and safety documentation is compliant and up to date

  • Foster a culture of accountability and professionalism within the team

 

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Great time management and attention to detail

  • Calm and resilient under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

  • Prior admin or reception experience

  • Microsoft Outlook expertise

  • Confident and approachable with people from all backgrounds

  • Ability to obtain a Certificate of Approval (COA)
